[jira] [Commented] (FLINK-1497) No documentation on MiniCluster

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-1497?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14312308#comment-14312308 ]

Stephan Ewen commented on FLINK-1497:
-------------------------------------

The mini cluster is so far an internal testing utility, not prominently exposed.

Would be nice to a documentation section (I guess under internals or so) for developer testing / debugging.

> It looks like the Flink docs do not show how to run a MiniCluster.
> It might be worth to document this feature and add relevant scripts to the /bin folder, e.g. start_mini.sh and stop_mini.sh
