[jira] [Created] (DRILL-7791) apache drill on openshift
Miguel Costa created DRILL-7791:
-----------------------------------
Summary: apache drill on openshift
Key: DRILL-7791
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-7791
Project: Apache Drill
Issue Type: Wish
Components: Server
Affects Versions: 1.17.0
Environment: openshift cluster
Reporter: Miguel Costa
Fix For: Future
hi All,
I'm trying to use the drill on docker the embedded version in a OpenShift cluster by my company but I always fail to make the application start.
This seems to be by the fact that the application requires some escalation permissions to run and my company policies in our OpenShift cluster actual forbid that.
I tried already get some help in stack overflow but not sure I was asking the right things.

I wanted to know if there is any documentation I should follow or if you have any experience of people running the application in OpenShift without problems of the user special permissions?
