Problem in STMP log emailing using log4j.jar

Hi,

Currently I am using web logic 6.0 and SP 1. I am using log4j for logging.
My application is built on Casper framework. I am trying to send SMTP mail
when an user experience any error page. This is not working in my
application. What could be the reason? First of  all i am not seeing any log
message in log file.
