Xopus Integration
Hi,
I need to integrate xopus with Lenya for xml editing. I am using xsd schemas.
Can anyone please guide me with the installation / build process for that.
I do not find anything in the XOPUS home directory in my Lenya package. It
only lists a download.xhtml in the
C:\opensource\lenya\src\webapp\lenya\resources\misc\xopus directory. But since
it is mentioned that Lenya ships with bxe and kupu, I should not have expected
anything to be there.
Also I would like to know if there is some functionality that allows database
insertion.

I think I was not able to convey my problem properly. I apologize for that.
Xopus has been truncated from Lenya 1.2.x since it is not an open source
software anymore. I will have to download the demo version (there is one for
localhost and another standalone) to begin with and build it somehow.
Configuration comes later.
Could you please help me out with that?

xopus is no longer open source and therefore is not provided with lenya.
if you want to use xopus, you need to purchase a license from q42

Hi,
I think I have missing components and it is because I am using the 1.2.x
subversion.
I turned on the OSCOM publication, but I do not have the edit with xopus
option. If xopus is provided with the subversion, I think the option has to be
added to the menu. But, it seems to me that I will have to download the
evaluation version from xopus.com since I do not even find xopus.js anywhere.

take a look at the OSCOM publication sample
src/webapp/lenya/pubs/oscom/lenya/xslt/xopus/
src/webapp/lenya/pubs/oscom/config/doctypes/schemas/
the publication is hidden and you might want to turn it on by setting
lenya:show="true"
within
src/webapp/lenya/pubs/oscom/publication.xml
Also you might want to use "trang" to generate your schemas (XSD)
