   Sorry @Eronarn it sucks when you open a PR and keep it from conflicting only to get no traction from the maintainers (been there, done that. etc.)
   
   Other people in the community reviewing this would help us, and if it's possible to split this into smaller PRs that would make reviewing and merging them easier.
