    this LGTM, have deployed and tested operation of each of a number of representative entities (Riak cluster, Tomcat 8, Zookeeper ensemble) against each of a variety of clouds (AWS, Azure, Openstack (Bluebox), GCE, and Softlayer); all tests succeeded on all clouds. Will merge this.
