[GSoC] Proposal References and Templates

GSoC Students,

If you haven’t already done so now is the time to get your proposal into google melange. The following resources might help:

http://en.flossmanuals.net/GSoCStudentGuide/

You can use last year’s template for a outline:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AIRAVATA/GSoC+2013+Student+Application+Template

Share your proposal contents with the dev list to get feedback and interest from mentors.

This looks nice and to the point. Can you also include Airavata internal service to service security? Example Airavata API Server interactions with Orchestrator and so on. Assuming all these internal CPI’s also are implemented by thrift, we need to come up with a mutual authentication among these services. Or explore a deployment strategy to have them all within a DMZ.
