[jira] [Created] (FELIX-3205) Error resolving system.bundle dependencies

Error resolving system.bundle dependencies
------------------------------------------

                 Key: FELIX-3205
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-3205
             Project: Felix
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Framework
    Affects Versions: framework-4.0.1
            Reporter: Mathieu Guillaume

Bundles with "Require-Bundle: system.bundle" fail to start with the error: missing requirement osgi.wiring.bundle=system.bundle.
Fragments with "Fragment-Host: system.bundle" fail to start with the error: missing requirement osgi.wiring.host=system.bundle.

They load fine if I replace (in FelixConstants) SYSTEM_BUNDLE_SYMBOLICNAME = "org.apache.felix.framework" with "system.bundle", but I doubt that's a good solution.

Mathieu Guillaume commented on FELIX-3205:
------------------------------------------

This seems to be working, thanks!
I still have an issue with an extension bundle that isn't specifying the "extension:=framework" part, but the spec doesn't seem to say this should be the default so I suppose it's an issue with the bundle itself.

    Resolution: Fixed

Those values were not properly being aliases in the bundle/host capabilities. I've committed a patch and it appears to work for me, please close this issue if you are satisfied.
