Request parameters get changed

Hello,
We have a scenario where - when two simultaneous requests come in, two of
the request parameters get switched.
The request coming in second modifies these parameters for the first request
as well.
It almost seems like the two threads processing the request end up getting
the same values.
This is just happening for two of the parameters and it works for the other
ones.
Could someone give any suggestions as to why this could be happening..
We are using Tomcat 4.1.12.
