sever does not start if common-digester.jar is moved to common/lib

Hi
 I moved to common-digester.jar from server/lib/ to common/lib. Then the server can not start up anymore by giving an error
ClassNotFound: org.apache.catalina.core.StandardServer.

Does anyone know how to correct this problem? Do I have to have a duplicated common-digester.jar under server/lib?
