[jira] [Commented] (HIVE-5746) "hive.files.umask.value" is not work

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-5746?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13814723#comment-13814723 ]

Lefty Leverenz commented on HIVE-5746:
--------------------------------------

The wiki documents hive.files.umask.value in Configuration Properties (at the end of the Query Execution section) but not fs.permissions.umask-mode nor hive.warehouse.subdir.inherit.perms. The Authorization wikidoc doesn't cover any of them.

Information about these properties should be added to [Hive Configuration Properties|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/Hive/Configuration+Properties] and [Hive Authorization|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/Hive/LanguageManual+Authorization].
