Excalibur 4.0 is released--there aren't any differences I am aware of
between the released version and CVS. Most commits that are post-release
are to the scratchpad libraries.
Please use the official version unless there is a real reason not to (like
a serious bug fix).

There was this thread several days ago on the avalon dev list where
Peter explained that there soon will be a 4.0.1 of the framework
and to keep versions in sync, which means that excalibur uses
an official release of the framework, a 4.0.1 of excalibur with
the official version (4.0.1) of the framework.

I don't know why that excalibur version was added to 2.1.
The jar is much bigger than the official release.
But if you think that there is no important difference we can
of course revert (By the way I'm waiting for excalibur 4.0.1
release ;-) )
