[PR Review Request] please help review PR #221

Hi dev team,

I've opened a pull request for fixing default varchar size from 30000 to
8192, hopefully it can resolve mysql table creation failures, by which many
jira tickets are holding. This fix gives an acceptable varchar size limited
by mysql rowsize, as well a relatively large size to store long text values.

Please help review it, thanks.
