Impress crashing issue

Anytime I try and play the presentation, it immediately crashes with no
error message or anything. It would be great if you guys could get back to
me very soon as I have a project due soon. Thanks in advance.

Without details of your version of OpenOffice and your operating system there is no advice we can give.

As a work around, use /File /Export as PDF to make a PDF file of the presentation.  This can be shown using any PDF reader, but will not have links to graphics or transitions from slide to slide.
