Re: patent on web content management

I know nothing about patents, but I found the following in their FAQ:

Does your database include data on pending patent applications?
The Patent Grant Database only includes data on patents which have
been issued. Since 1 January 2001, some patent applications since have
been published in the Published Patent Applications Database.

From: http://www.uspto.gov/patft/help/helpfaq.htm#includes_pending

So, doesn't it mean that the patent has been granted?

Brian

IMO a ridiculous patent filed in a ridculous manner. A wonder these
types of patents ever get granted.

Seems more like a money gathering exercise by the US patent office than
anything else (and there is prior art!) ;)

Screw that!

I will apply for patent for the concept of "breathing" ;-).
