[PROPOSE] RM for 4.19.1.0
Hi All,
CloudStack 4.19.0.0 is the latest LTS release. There are already some open issues [1] and pull requests [2] targeted for 4.19.1.0 [3] release.
I'd like to propose and put myself forward as the release manager for 4.19.1.0 if no objections there. Please ping me (@sureshanaparti) on GitHub, in case you want to include any Issue/PR in 4.19.1.0.
I propose to have a window of at least 8 weeks (2 months), which allows the community / users to test, use 4.19.0.0 and report any issues. We can aim to cut RC1 in Q2 2024 (maybe, sometime in May-2024). I'll propose the timeline details soon. I hope to have your support.
Please let me know if you have any thoughts/comments.

Thanks for volunteering Suresh. Agree as Daan has mentioned, community would benefit to have the 4.18.2.0 first with some gap to then have 4.19.1.0. The 4.19.1 RC by May end or early June LGTM.

Hi All,
I would like to announce the code freeze now, on the 4.19 branch. I've moved the open items in the 4.19.1.0 milestone [1] to the next milestone.
Only critical/blocker or any stabilization fixes are accepted from now onwards until end of next week (05-Jul). I'll work towards cutting 4.19.1.0 RC1 (and further RCs if necessary) from 06-Jul, and start voting / release process.

I would like to postpone the code freeze date to end of this week (28-Jun), as there are some open items in the 4.19.1.0 milestone [1] which needs some testing, re-work. Also, please resolve any conflicts in your PRs, address the outstanding comments and share the test results.
I'll announce the code freeze on email, and will move any open items to the next feasible milestone. Only critical/blocker fixes are accepted there onwards until end of next week (05-Jul).
I'll work towards cutting RC1 from 06-Jul and start voting / release process.

Latest update - We've closed 230 Issues and PRs in the 4.19.1.0 milestone [1]. There are still some targeted items to finish, so I would like to postpone the 4.19.1.0 release for at least a week.
Here is the updated schedule for 4.19.1.0 release:
- (Ongoing) till End-Jun 2024, 26-Jun: Accept all bugs, issues, minor improvements allowed
- (1 week) 27-Jun till 03-Jul: Accept only critical/blocker fixes if any, and stabilise 4.19 branch
- (1 week) from 04-Jul Onwards: Cut 4.19.1.0 RC1 (and further RCs if necessary), start/conclude vote, and finish release work
Please let me know if you have any feedback, thoughts.

It's been few months since the proposal, and we've fixed/tested/merged 139 Issues and PRs in the 4.19.1.0 milestone [1]. Currently, we've 202 open items in the 4.19.1.0 milestone, tracked/triaged through the GitHub project 'Apache CloudStack 4.19.1' [2].
We can target for the "Must have" - 14 [3] and "Should have" - 23 [4] items. Feel free to work on "Good to have" / any other items in case anyone wants it in 4.19.1.0. Ping me (@sureshanaparti) on your issues and PRs, that are to be included in 4.19.1.0.
With that target, I propose the following timelines for 4.19.1.0 release, which is targeted for end of Q2 2024. Please let me know if you have any feedback, thoughts.

Latest update - We've closed 230 Issues and PRs in the 4.19.1.0 milestone [1]. There are still some targeted items to finish, so I would like to postpone the 4.19.1.0 release for at least a week.
Here is the updated schedule for 4.19.1.0 release:
- (Ongoing) till End-Jun 2024, 26-Jun: Accept all bugs, issues, minor improvements allowed
- (1 week) 27-Jun till 03-Jul: Accept only critical/blocker fixes if any, and stabilise 4.19 branch
- (1 week) from 04-Jul Onwards: Cut 4.19.1.0 RC1 (and further RCs if necessary), start/conclude vote, and finish release work

It's been few months since the proposal, and we've fixed/tested/merged 139 Issues and PRs in the 4.19.1.0 milestone [1]. Currently, we've 202 open items in the 4.19.1.0 milestone, tracked/triaged through the GitHub project 'Apache CloudStack 4.19.1' [2].
We can target for the "Must have" - 14 [3] and "Should have" - 23 [4] items. Feel free to work on "Good to have" / any other items in case anyone wants it in 4.19.1.0. Ping me (@sureshanaparti) on your issues and PRs, that are to be included in 4.19.1.0.
With that target, I propose the following timelines for 4.19.1.0 release, which is targeted for end of Q2 2024. Please let me know if you have any feedback, thoughts.

CloudStack 4.19.0.0 is the latest LTS release. There are already some open issues [1] and pull requests [2] targeted for 4.19.1.0 [3] release.
I'd like to propose and put myself forward as the release manager for 4.19.1.0 if no objections there. Please ping me (@sureshanaparti) on GitHub, in case you want to include any Issue/PR in 4.19.1.0.
I propose to have a window of at least 8 weeks (2 months), which allows the community / users to test, use 4.19.0.0 and report any issues. We can aim to cut RC1 in Q2 2024 (maybe, sometime in May-2024). I'll propose the timeline details soon. I hope to have your support.
