PyDruid and Travis

Hey all,

I've been the main maintainer of pydruid for quite some time now, and
really can't allocate much of my time towards it anymore.

Recently Travis-CI stopped working
<https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=25338983> and the project needs to be
migrated to something like GitHub Actions, and I won't be able to take that
on.

This is more of an FYI, but we can use this thread to seek volunteers that
may want to help out in this area. For what it's worth, the workload is
pretty minimal, with the occasional PR review and PyPI
packaging/pushing, maybe an hour a month. Migrating off of Travis is
probably a half day for someone who's familiar with GitHub Actions.

I'll be happy to help out here in the future and there and can assist the
transition if needed.

Thanks,

Max

Hi Maxine,

Could you please introduce a bit more about the qualifications, capabilities required to perform the work? I am an exibmer and had been interested in druid for a year.

regards,
Patrick
