   I'm fine with removing all the JavaFX samples, as they don't work (neither in 8.2 nor in 9), but:
   
   Why is the licensing unclear? My understanding was, that everything from the initial checkin was taken from the data oracle donated. As many important third-party files were removed before that set was created (the XSDs and DTDs we readded), I'd expect, that these files were considered to be donatable by oracle. In turn this would mean, that the licensing is totally clear: They are ALv2.
