SSL with Spamd/Spamc? Anyone got it running?

Is anyone successfully using 3.2.5 spamd/spamc with SSL?  I had a heck of a time compiling it against the correct libraries on my system and don't have it working.  I'm trying to determine if my setup works before I work to change the compilation/configure scripts.
