bug 6096 - what should be done?
Should this bug be closed as "WONTFIX" or should this
actually be implemented.
My inclination is towards closing it as "WONTFIX";

Off hand, I'd say that Bill does have a point.
Is there any apparent reason why we are binding the implementation to
HashMap?
If so, perhaps we should document the reasoning.
