Problem to integrate a website in cocoon
hi evrybody,
I'm a beginner in cocoon, I've been spending days finding out how does
apache cocoon works,
but all the docs i've found didn't help me to answer my questions.
I just get a web site developped on cocoon, so i've installed the server but
I can not find where i have to copy the directory or what i have to do, to
make it work.
I really have problems to figure out how this all thing work.
So, if someone could explain to me what are the manipulations to do to run
my website, please help me.
I'm using the 2.1.11 version of cocoon.
Thank you so much.

I restarted many times Tomcat after each modifications I was doing.
But I thought too that it was strange to not have any sitemap on the root
directory.
but apparently It was working like that.
Maybe, there some configuration files that I've forgotten somewhere.
But anyway, thank you so much for your time and I will keep searching.
One day, i'll find it :)

Sometimes Tomcat doesn't take the context "on the fly" and needs to
restart...
Anyway, you *need* a sitemap.xmap in your root directory.

Re: Problem to integrate a website in cocoon

Thank you for your answer but I think I miss something important.
I've placed my directory in webapps, I've duplicated one of the xml file I
found there then I changed the path :
<Context docBase="${catalina.home}/server/webapps/manager"
privileged="true" antiResourceLocking="false"
antiJARLocking="false">
to "${catalina.home}/server/webapps/nameOfMyDir"
I've tried many differents path and unfortunetly it's not working.
The server display "ressource not found"
The sitemap.xmap file is not on the root directory, and i think I have to
configure something else
to make the server point to the right directory to find the sitemap.
Sorry to bothering you but I really need to make it run.

Hi,
Is your app in a "webapp" context ? Is your app declared in your servlet
engine context ?
