After all (migrating studio to maven build) we should cleanup the written plugin for studio and finally release a first version that can be downloaded from a mirror. This will avoid the need to build the plugin before one can start with the 'real' installation stuff for the studio.

We can't re-sign the eclipse artifacts after modifying them because the missing certificate from eclipse.-

Felix Knecht commented on DIRSTUDIO-276:

Goal "replace-file-in-eclipse-artifact" isn't used ATM anymore but could be usefull again later on when we found a way to patch the eclipse jars. This doesn't works yet because eclipse signs its diestributed jars.
I'm not sure if we shall delete it or keep it for maybe later use.
