JSF and multi instance Portlets

I am working with the JSF portlet bridge in liferay portal. It works very
well in my simple case usage. Thanks for this good work! I have encountered
an issue under the following scenario

Liferay supports and instance able attribute on it's portlets, allowing you
to show the same portlet on the same page over and over. In this case the
JSF generates the same outputs, The same JavaScript, the same Id's, the same
form names. The world comes tumbling down when you submit, in which the
best case scenario is that one of the portlets responds correctly. I am
wondering the following:

Is this something I am doing wrong?

Is it an known issue?

Is it best handled by the bridge or a render kits?

Thanks for the time and the work thus far, it's a big help!
