How to mix OOP with Airflow?

Basically I have a class that encodes a data preprocessing operation via a
series of different internal methods. Calling these within a DAG doesn't
work because the class that is initialized at the top of the graph isn't
updated by what happens inside the worker.

Has anyone else worked with this? Is this something that can be solved with
XCom?
