[jira] [Commented] (PLC4X-110) Implement Basic .NET API
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PLC4X-110?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16817321#comment-16817321 ]
Julian Feinauer commented on PLC4X-110:
---------------------------------------
Hey [~bhoeper], first, grats to your first issue :D
Second, I would offer to implement a minimal Java-Thrift-PLC4X Server. We could then create (via Thrift) the C# Client and use this as backend for the .NET Interface, to play around a bit and see what works (as this would already enable complete PLC4X functionality with all Java drivers).
What do you think, should we do this?

> In order to extend PLC4X to also include .NET as target framwork a basic API should be implemented that may serve as a starting point for the integration of (possibly generated) drivers with .NET
