Specify dates instead of revisions?

I seem to remember some discussion a while back about taking dates as revision
parameters instead of actual rev numbers, but I don't remember what the
conclusion was. Dates don't seem work in 0.15; does that mean this feature
has been dropped? tigris.org's mail list archive search is clunky and didn't
help me find much.

Anyway, I'm curious because I'd like to put up a couple web pages with
information about some projects I'm working on. I'd like them to show commits
for the past day/week/month/etc, something like this (URL wrap alert):

http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?treeid=default&module=Chimera&branch=CHIMERA_M1_0_1_BRANCH&branchtype=match&dir=&file=&filetype=match&who=&whotype=match&sortby=Change+Size&hours=2&date=day&mindate=&maxdate=&cvsroot=%2Fcvsroot

It'd be a lot easier to do this if I could use dates instead of having to
parse thru the log output to grab the requested date(s).

Thanks guys. I wasn't using the curly braces.

Maybe something should be added to the cli help? Right now (0.15) it says

-r [--revision] arg : specify revision number ARG (or X:Y range)

This is consistent with our rules:

"{DATE}", as a revision, means "the most recent revision as of DATE."

-r R1:R2 means "from R1 to R2 inclusive."

Certainly, users might expect date ranges to operate specially ("the
revisions between these two dates"). But that's kind of an ugly special
case.

It should work. This is 0.14.5 and this works fine:

  svn log -r "{2002-11-20}:{2002-11-21}" http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn

Atleast, relatively fine.

It would seem there's a slight "bug" here. It shows me one entry
before the start time. This is the correct behaviour when typing just
one date - such as "{2002-11-20}" to find the commit preceding that -
and it's correct behaviour for the end date - but it's not correct
behaviour for a range.

I don't know if fixing this is trivial, though.
