[jira] [Created] (YUNIKORN-1101) idempotent remove application and remove task in context

Wilfred Spiegelenburg created YUNIKORN-1101:
-----------------------------------------------

Summary: idempotent remove application and remove task in context
                 Key: YUNIKORN-1101
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-1101
             Project: Apache YuniKorn
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: shim - kubernetes
            Reporter: Wilfred Spiegelenburg

The shim context {{RemoveApplicationInternal}} and {{RemoveTask}} should not return an error if the application or task is not found.

The current behaviour is contrary to what would be expected. When deleting from a list or map s delete of an object that does not exist has the same result as a delete of an object that does exist: the map or list no longer contains the object...
