Agreed that this is not possible out of the box due to limitations with FAB, which Superset uses for auth.

Superset doesn't natively support enabling both database and OAuth login simultaneously because [Flask-AppBuilder only accepts a single `AUTH_TYPE`](https://github.com/apache/superset/discussions/32660). However, you can achieve this with a **custom security manager**.
**Basic approach:**
1. Set `AUTH_TYPE = AUTH_OAUTH` and configure Google OAuth in `superset_config.py`:
```python
from flask_appbuilder.security.manager import AUTH_OAUTH
AUTH_TYPE = AUTH_OAUTH
OAUTH_PROVIDERS = [
{
'name': 'google',
'icon': 'fa-google',
'token_key': 'access_token',
'remote_app': {
'client_id': os.environ.get('GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID'),
'client_secret': os.environ.get('GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET'),

```
2. Create a [custom security manager](https://github.com/apache/superset/discussions/32472) that extends `SupersetSecurityManager` and implements a unified login view that displays both OAuth buttons and a database login form.
3. Register it in your config:
```python
CUSTOM_SECURITY_MANAGER = CustomSsoSecurityManager
```
