How checkpointspout decides to that all stateful bolts have committed ?
Hello all,
In case of multiple stateful bolts in DAG how does the checkpoint spout
came to know that all the bolts have processed the checkpoint message and
acked.
I am unable to find the actual logic running for that in checkpointspout code.
Can anyone point me to the code corresponding to that.
Found the following nice line in hortonworks blog:
*"Once the checkpoint spout receives **ACK from all the bolts, the state
commit is complete and the transaction is recorded as committed by the
checkpoint spout."*
