Problem building subversion

Hi,

I'm trying to build on Linux, and I'm getting the following error:

/home/robert/subversion/src/subversion-1.5.2/libtool: line 1322: LANG:
command not found
make: *** [subversion/libsvn_subr/atomic.lo] Error 1


What exactly could be causing this? Thanks in advance.

Setting LANGUAGE to en_US instead of &LANG fixed it. Thanks for your help.

What is LANG or LANGUAGE set to in your env settings? If you have a
non-standard value in there I think it might break libtool.

discussed on users@subversion.tigris.org mailing list.
