[jira] Commented: (INFRA-1602) Can not send email to wicket.apache.org lists from my new email address

Jeremy Thomerson commented on INFRA-1602:
-----------------------------------------

This appears to be fixed - I am guessing that it may have been just the age of the domain.

> I have been subscribed to the wicket mailing lists for several years with my gmail.com address, and always able to reply (been subscribed to the apache lists since they were created). I set up a new domain called wickettraining.com last week, and got it set up with Google Apps for my email services. I subscribed to users@wicket.apache.org and dev@. I receive the messages fine, but I can not reply to them from there, or send a new message from wickettraining.com to the lists.
> Interestingly, I can go to my jeremythomerson@gmail.com account, and tell it to send from jeremy@wickettraining.com and it goes through fine (using Gmail's other accounts feature). That actually sends the message from jeremythomerson@gmail.com with a reply-to of jeremy@wickettraining.com and shows being from jeremy@wickettraining.com (example headers here:)

> Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
> dev@wicket.apache.org
> Technical details of permanent failure:
> PERM_FAILURE: Gmail tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. The error that the other server returned was: 552 552 spam score (5.3) exceeded threshold. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. Thanks for your continued support. (state 17)

> Here's an email thread I had with Eelco about it....
> I don't know - it's a brand new domain (just registered about a week ago). I sent the exact same message, same subject and all, from the @gmail.com address, and it worked. I tried with a new message (the training class announcement last night) and a reply (the one on this thread about "display a string when null"), both failed from this address and succeeded from @gmail.com....
> Since you don't think Apache is blocking things with "wicket" in the name, I'd bet it's because of a new domain, but who knows. Is there someway I can contact Apache to try to figure it out?
