show PDF in new browser window

Hi all,

I have a web application which offers the user an overview-page where 
user's can download PDF files.

When the user clicks a link to the pdf a action is called which reads the 
file (InputStream) and ouputs to the servlets HttpResponse.
The browser nicely displays the PDF in the browser. 

This works fine, but now my boss is asking me if I can open the PDF in a 
new browser window.

But I have no idea how to do that.

Do you guys/girls have any idea?
