In entity, the scope should match the condition, right now, even no service(dashboard or database), the query still happens, but serviceName as NULL. UI should not do this query.

This is a typical example of an illegal query. I have added the backend check. But the issue is, parent service could be missed in sort and sampled record query(s)
So, the best choice would be, if there is not service/database available, please don't do the query from the UI.
