Apache, MS XML & MS .NET ?

Hi all,
I am trying to evaluate Apache as an alternative to IIS, running on
Windows 2000 Servers - as we might want a robust alternative to IIS
(Microsoft) as a web-server/hosting platform, with less security problems.
With this in mind we are investigating what it would take to migrate our
existing web-based applications (ALL built using ASP and some with XML/XSLT
using the Microsoft XML 3 Parser).

Here are a couple of the key questions:

1) What impact migrating to APACHE will have on our implementation of
web-based applications built using (Microsoft) ASP.NET - does anybody have a
.NET application/site running on Apache? If not, is it possible?

2) Will Apache running on a Windows 2000 OS platform be able to use the
Microsoft XML parser that we have already started to develop with - we have
been using the XML version 3 Parser, with server-side transformations? Has
anybody used the Microsoft parsers in conjunction with Apache as the
web-server?

Thanks for any advice or assistance with this...
