Hi, Igniters!

It’s time to review 2022 and celebrate our wins and champions!

Our community delivered six Ignite releases:

2.12, 2.13, and 2.14 [1]

3.0 Alpha 4, 3.0 Alpha 5, and 3.0 Beta 1 [2]

Also, our community released eight Ignite Extensions and modules:

AWS Extension 1.0.0

Azure Extension 1.0.0

GCE Extension 1.0.0

Spring Data Extension 2.0.0

Spring Session Extension 1.0.0 & 2.0.0

Zookeeper Ip Finder Extension 1.0.0

Python thin client (Pyignite) 0.6.0

Spark Module 2.0.0 & 3.0.0

We have five new committers and three new PMC members [3]. Let’s once again
celebrate them:

Eighty developers contributed their time and experience to promote project

The community hosted two Ignite Summit events [6], one in June and one in
November. Experts from companies like Bloomberg, Expedia, Crux, and iFood
presented 22 talks and, thus, shared their expertise with more than 1,000
developers. Recordings are available on the events’ pages [7], [8]
