[jira] Commented: (WW-3396) Custom Window States when creating URL

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WW-3396?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12864214#action_12864214 ]

Per Pascal Grube commented on WW-3396:
--------------------------------------

I ran into the same issue and tried to apply your patch. The problem I got with your patch is, that you try to assign a String to WindowState-Object, which does not even compile.

I used the following snipplet as a workaround:

            } else if ("minimized".equalsIgnoreCase(windowState)) {
                state = WindowState.MINIMIZED;
            } else if ("exclusive".equalsIgnoreCase(windowState)) {
                state = new WindowState(windowState.toLowerCase());
            }

I will try to come up with a better patch, but I it requires some more patching, as the custom window states set in portlet.xml should be taken care of.

> Currently while creating a URL, Struts2 only supports the regular JSR Window States (NORMAL; MAXIMIZED, MINIMIZED). When a customized window state is passed it defaults to the NORMAL window state
> Here is an example link to reproduce this behaviour
> <s:url windowState="exclusive" action="index" />
> A patched is attached to this issue.
