   So do you recommend `adoptopenjdk/openjdk8:jdk8u152-b16-alpine` or `adoptopenjdk/openjdk8-openj9:jdk8u162-b12_openj9-0.8.0-alpine`? I'm not sure why openj9 would be used in one but not the other. 
   
   I know nothing about openj9. I don't see any specific motivation mentioned in that PR, other than having the option exist. It would be great if someone can chime in on some specific improvements.
