japanese and russian UI

the new CSS menu finally allows us to translate the tabs, as you can see
in these screenshots.
looks like a couple terms are missing in these translations, and the
layout of the russian UI is screwed up.
this is a call for more translations. lenya currently has the following
languages:
german
spanish
french
italian
japanese
dutch
russian
english
if you want to contribute additional languages, take a look at

I cannot observe this shifting of lenya-info-content (in FF 1.0 and IE 6.0),
is it already fixed or version-dependatnt ?

(eg. "change node visibility" is only in _de version).
It would be good to have some script or xslt to sync them all.

This is mostly because russian texts appear wider then reserved space.
(12em for menu, 7em for menu header)
I guess it it possible to make them nonfixed width,
i once created similar menu on css, using div-soup, will try to find.

don't worry, committers do evaluate every patch and apply it to both
branches, if possible, which is no problem at all for translations. it
would be a waste to have the same bug twice.

in cmsui.xml and cmsui_de.xml
But the Bug#34798 with previous russian translation from Anton Kovalenko
is marked closed and is against 1.4, but there's no 1.2.x version tag.
im not sure if i can attach it there or where then ?
