   Regarding the compaction tests and the others within `SSTableIdGenerationTest`. What we have is one partition per SSTable that could hide some of the problems as the rows do not have to be combined with others from other SSTables. We cannot covered everything but having a few update and deletions within different SSTables might lead to a more trustable output.
