Subversion certified platform

Hi All,

I am aware that Subversion 1.4.6 is certified on Windows 2003 R2.

I have a Windows 2003 SP1 server and am keen on installing Subversion
1.4.6.

Does anyone have any experience on the above setup. Are there any issues
?

Most importantly, if I encounter a problem, will I be expected to
upgrade to Windows 2003 R2 before receiving help on this forum ?

Thanks
Lakshman

No - this forum is for volunteer-provided support and help for all
platforms. If you want to receive commercial support, see here:
http://www.collab.net/support/svn_support.html (they may require you to
upgrade - you'll have to ask them: http://www.collab.net/about/contactus/).

I personally maintain subversion repositories on XP, Server 2003 and
2008 - I haven't encountered any issues.

Just follow the documented procedures for setup (TortoiseSVN has some
excellent documentation on setting up on windows -
http://tortoisesvn.net/docs/release/TortoiseSVN_en/index.html) and all
will be well with the world.

Failing that, don't be afraid to ask for help.

I wasn't aware of any kind of svn certification. Which certification are you talking about?
