Looks like the Github mirrors are back for flex-sdk

Hi,

You need to look at develop branch of course.

Anyone what to deal with this pull request?
https://github.com/apache/flex-tlf/pull/1/files

Is there any way to get pull request like the above one to be mailed to the list (and possibly ignored) rather than sit in github and be ignored? :-)

Justin

Doesn't Cordova have a workflow of finding pull requests on GitHub and then
somehow pulling them into their Apache Git repo? IIRC, it still requires
that the requestor close the pull request at the end. However, I think
that's about as good as it can get for a read-only mirror. Will their
workflow work for us?

Yes, you need to be the owner or a designated admin to be able to do these
things. Someone from Infra probably has those rights.

These repos are supposed to be one way mirrors, I.e they reflect the state
of the project by mirroring the official apache based repos.

There is no way we will be able to handle these pull requests on the
mirror. If they allowed that, then they are not read only mirrors anymore.

Best option would be to document this on our get-involved page.

Om

I'm looking at the tutorials for handling pull requests, but they all
refer to UI elements that I don't see on GitHub when I'm logged in as
(erikdebruin)... Do we need special privileges to be able to handle
these requests on GitHub?

hi,

Also how do we close this pull request?
https://github.com/apache/flex-sdk/pull/1/commits

(It's no longer an issue).

Thanks,
Justin
