[jira] [Created] (FC-41) Not sure it's valuable to check the
attributes on the client side
Emmanuel Lecharny created FC-41:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Not sure it's valuable to check the attributes on the client side
Key: FC-41
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FC-41
Project: FORTRESS-CORE
Issue Type: Improvement
Affects Versions: 1.0.0-RC39
Reporter: Emmanuel Lecharny
Fix For: 1.0.0-RC40
Currently, before sending the entries to teh LDAP server, we do validate the content of each attribute. Assuming the server will already do such a check, does it make sense to do it in the client side ?
I understand that's more a choice to not send anything invalid to the server, but the server will do those checks anyway...
