JBOSS seperately, but I am facing problem in installing cocoon when running
JBOSS with Catalina..
I have followed the instructions given in installation guide but I am facing

Do you mean the tutorial at
http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/installing/index.html
addressing the replacement of JBOSS2.4.4/Tomcat4.0.1
XML parser or other resource?
What version of Cocoon are you trying to deploy?

> ...

I have successfully deployed following combinations:
JBoss 2.4.4/Tomcat 4.0.1 binary + Cocoon 2.0.2 binary
(Cocoon Hypersonic DB samples work, even if they say
they should not)
JBoss 3.1alpha/Jetty source + Cocoon 2.0.3 binary
(this includes rebuild of JBoss)

I will try to deploy
JBoss 3.0.1RC1/Tomcat(Catalina instead of Jetty)
source + Cocoon 2.0.3 binary
as soon as I download that JBoss version and take time
for it (hopefully in few hours)

I got no such (sitemap related) error from Cocoon, so
I cannot serve here, but:
1) IF YOU NEED that (old) version of JBoss/Tomcat
running, I could put down what I've done before and
post it, or
2) IF YOU WOULD LIKE to have newest distributions
running, wait a little and I'll post the exact guide
here.

I suspect you forgot to copy some jars from Cocoon
into lib directory of JBoss, but I'm not sure about
it.

HTH,
Peter.
