lt-httpd doesn't cleanup

Philippe, after running your static patch a few times I ran out of disk
space, found this to be the cause:

/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/30071-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/30018-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/27995-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/28079-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/29905-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/29859-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/28042-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/29773-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/29972-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/29796-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/30094-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/29882-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/29819-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/29995-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/30117-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/28018-lt-httpd
/home/stas/apache.org/httpd-2.0/.libs/lt-httpd

Not sure whether this is a modperl or an httpd problem, but why does it
create those backup files on each server start?

I can't reproduce it anymore, I'll let you know if it happens again.
