[jira] [Resolved] (DAEMON-304) Procrun ignores environment
variables
Mark Thomas resolved DAEMON-304.
--------------------------------
Resolution: Invalid
I checked the code and from code inspection all the parameters do appear to be supported.
As a double check I did a quick test with Tomcat and StartClass and setting PR_StartClass worked as expected.

> Environment: Windows 7

> Description at http://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-daemon/procrun.html suggests that any command line parameter for prunsrv.exe can be specified via PR_... environment variable.
> Some in fact do not work like that, e.g., LogPath, StartClass.
> Takes some time to figure out why the call does not work as expected with environment variables.
> The documentation should list what parameters this technique works with.
