Overview: while Executing AOOTest-1502(writer) Rotation section is not
available after picture was inserted via Drawing toolbar.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) New a Document .
2) Insert picture by drawing toolbar.
Actual Results: In position and size section of sidebar rotation section is not
available.
Expected Result: Rotation section should be available.
Build Date & Hardware:
Build: AOO 4.0 Rev. 1489073
OS: windows 7

Thanks, I see it now. That icon calls the same dialog as Insert>Picture>From
File. So the inserted picture is a Writer-picture and those do not have the
ability to rotate. Therefore it is correct, that the rotation control is not
shown in the sidebar.
To get a picture, which you can rotate, you have to insert it in Draw and then
copy it to the text document. There have been several discussions to improve
this situation. The long time goal is, to enhance the Draw-picture so, that it
gets all features of the Writer-picture and then drop the Writer-picture.
There exists an extension to turn a Writer-picture into a Draw-picture.

It is not clear, how you insert the picture. The Drawing toolbar in Writer has
no way to insert a picture. And a picture inserted via Insert>Picture>From File
or via dragging from the gallery does not have the ability to rotate.
