[jira] [Created] (OAK-2614) Timeout for MongoDB query

Marcel Reutegger created OAK-2614:
-------------------------------------

             Summary: Timeout for MongoDB query
                 Key: OAK-2614
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-2614
             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: core, mongomk
            Reporter: Marcel Reutegger
            Assignee: Marcel Reutegger
             Fix For: 1.1.8

MongoDB 2.6 introduced a query timeout which allows a client to specify a time how long a query is allowed to execute.

I'd like to introduce this as a configurable feature to better control resource usage in MongoDB and stop too expensive queries.
