CAMEL Deploy Issue
Thanks for your link on basic camel workout.
I tried making the following code as " quick_understanding.xml" and pasted
in into deploy folder
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<blueprint
xmlns="http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="
http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0
http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0/blueprint.xsd">
<camelContext xmlns="http://camel.apache.org/schema/blueprint">
<route>
<from uri="file:camel/input"/>
<log message="Moving ${file:name} to the output directory"/>
<to uri="file:camel/output"/>
</route>
</camelContext>
</blueprint>
When i command osgi:list , i get this bundle as ' gracePeriod ' as shown
below.
[ 200] [Active ] [GracePeriod ] [ ] [ 60]
quick_understanding.xml (0.0.0)
But when i tried this first time, i got like the following
[ 200] [Active ] [ ] [ ] [ 60]
quick_understanding.xml (0.0.0)
Even though , as said in the doc.. No camel,inbox,outbox directories were
created.
Kindly help me out in this regard.

Hmm maybe we should add a check in SMX that would prevent it from
starting if the JDK is not 1.6+ ?

Hi,
That's weird as you already install camel-blueprint feature before you
deploy the blueprint camel router.
I exactly use same blueprint file as you use, actually copy and paste
it from your email.
Could you see any exception in data/log/servicemix.log when you put
the blueprint file into deploy folder?
Btw, does the machine running Servicemix has internet connection?

Hi Freeman,
I want to make it clear, That i was just making the following code into a
sample xml file and putting it to deploy folder. as i am following this
link:
http://servicemix.apache.org/docs/4.3.0-SNAPSHOT/quickstart/camel.html
the code i put :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<blueprint
xmlns="http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="
http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0
http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0/blueprint.xsd">
<camelContext xmlns="http://camel.apache.org/schema/blueprint">
<route>
<from uri="file://inputdir/"/>
<log message="Moving ${file:name} to the output directory"/>
<to uri="file://outputdir/"/>
</route>
</camelContext>
</blueprint>
If this was the case you say, can you pin up your code/clarify my code if
there is a bug. Also by the way i installed the camel-blueprint feature
using feature:install camel-blueprint.

Hi,
As camel-blueprint isn't the default installed feature, you just need
ensure you already install camel-blueprint feature before copy that
blueprint camel router to deploy folder.
something like
features:install camel-blueprint
Btw, this blueprint camel bundle works by my test.

Hi,
As mentioned in another thread, camel-blueprint is available since
Servicemix 4.3.0, so you have to upgrade your servicemix version(the
newest FUSE ESB 4.4[1]) or use spring-dm to configure your camel router.

Apache ServiceMix 4.2.0 doesn't ship blueprint. You have to upgrade to
Apache ServiceMix 4.3.0 to be able to use blueprint.

Hi,
Did you install camel-blueprint feature ?
karaf@root> features:install camel-blueprint
Could you try to define the absolute path in your URI, aka something like:
<from uri="file:///home/my/camel/input"/>
<to uri="file:///home/my/camel/output"/>
What do you have in the log (log:display) ?
Regards
JB
