Book with Style

Something I don't see in the archives that I found helpful ... if you
use a local copy of the HTML version of the subversion book you can
make it look a lot better by opening http://svnbook.red-
bean.com/en/1.1/styles.css and saving the file as styles.css in the
directory where the book itself is stored.

Just curious why there is no downloads page for the book (which might,
for example, incorporate the style sheet)? Does everyone just view it
online?

Using mozilla 1.7.3, (some/all of) the images in the images/ directory
didn't get picked up. styles.css did show up, though.

Ah, OK. It looked so much like the standard Windows Save As dialog
that I didn't realize they'd added their own file types. Thanks.

I think what Ben was referring to is after you click on "Save Page As",
in the "Save As" box from Windows, where it says "Save as type: Web
Page, HTML only", you should be able to use the drop-down and select
"Web Page, complete".

Yes ... I just find a single large HTML file easier to navigate than a
PDF.

Odd, I can't find that one, I'm on Mozilla 1.7.3 for Windows. All it
has is "Save Page As" which saves only the HTML. Maybe it's jus tin
Firefox??

Could be worthwhile ...

1) Most people probably download the PDF,

2) If you use a Mozilla-based browser to view the single giant .html
file, the 'Save-As' command has a "web page complete" option, which
will grab *all* images and stylesheets.

Dunno, maybe we should offer a tarball of absolutely everything?
