# Use LOG4NET
 # See that log files with the file extension .xml are created
 # Double click these files in Windows environment. Most of the .xml reader (such as Edge or Chrome) cannot read these files.
 # Copy a generated .xml log file into an XML validator
 # See that the .xml log files do not meet the XML format

*How it should be:*

The log files should meet the xml criteria

or

The log files should not have the .xml extension. The should have another file extension.

 

*Remark:* I was not able to create this issue in the project category LOG4NET. Maybe somebody can move it into this category.
